Elective Courses for M.E.

The Mechanical & Materials Engineering (MME) Department at Florida International University (FIU) offers a curriculum which is designed to give our students a thorough understanding of the basic laws of science and to stimulate and develop creative thinking, a professional attitude, economic judgment and environmental consciousness.

The Engineering Accreditation Commission of the Accreditation Board for Engineering and Technology (EAC/ABET) accredits engineering programs on a nationwide basis. Students wishing more information about accreditation should consult their respective departmental office or the Office of the Dean. The following baccalaureate engineering programs in the college are accredited by ABET, Inc., Biomedical Engineering, Civil Engineering, Computer Engineering, Electrical Engineering, Environmental Engineering, and Mechanical Engineering.
